Trip to Everland

Going to Korea wouldn't be complete if you don't visit any amusement park. Korea has a lot of amusement parks. Among them, Everland is the best!

It's a place where everyday is a holiday! Excited is an understatement. I was so happy walking inside the park and even more excited to try their rides.

I went there with Khaylee. We went in the same school but we haven't talk until now. As an expat, it's refreshing to meet another Filipino once in awhile.

We were together in some rides. In other rides, I was alone. 

 She's into photography, and I'm into extreme rides. 

I enjoyed the Zootopia because it was my first time to see most of the animals there.

I was in awe the whole time. I feel like I was more excited with the kids there.

Look at these racoons!

They have different kinds of monkeys! Yay! LOL

You don't need to go to Africa to ride a camel. They have it here in Everland! <3

Look at this T-Express! Your visit to Everland isn't worth it if you don't try The T- Express. It's one of the steepest wooden roller coaster in the world!

Everland also offers animal shows. 

It's not just a normal animal show because the animals know a lot of tricks.

I can say that the animals are not harmed and they are enjoying what they do.

Given a chance, I would love to have a caricature with my family or my special someone.

Alpine Village is amazing! It made me feel that I'm in Switzerland.

I went there on the second week of March 2016. The snow has melted. No more sledding. :(

The horror house was also closed. 

I ate at the place called European Adventure.

The food is really pricey so we decided to order just one meal. This costs 13,500 won.

 

It was all worth it!

Who would have thought that you'll see these kind of houses in Korea!

After the T-Express ride, we opted to go to some light activities like watching a 4D movie.

At first, we were glad because the trailer is in English with Korean subtitles. 

But it turns out that the movie "Rio" is using the Korean language without subtitles. LOL.

The rotating house is next to the Space Tour. It's really cool! You should try it.

I forgot the name of this ride where you'll sit in the chair and shoot anything weird around.

They also have lots of cable cars. Yayyy.

The tulips are still closed because it's winter. 

I'll definitely go back there on Spring!

Trip to Dog Cafe

When I first went to Myeongdong, I've seen a mascot wearing a dog costume. The mascot was giving out some leaflets about the dog cafe. I told myself that I shall go there before I leave Seoul.

The entrance fee costs 8,000 won. It includes a free drink.

We were asked to put our things in the cabinet under the chair. (for safety)

After drinking, we start roaming around the cafe. 

 

They provide pink and blue blankets that can be used during the interaction with the dogs.

I don't really know how many dogs are there. I think it's enough for all the customers.

PS. Sorry for the quality. I took them while sitting because the dog doesn't want to leave my lap.

Well, some dogs prefer to be alone. 

Some dogs choose their customers by smelling their shoes.

Some dogs are clingy, and some are snob.

Customers just sit on the floor and wait for dogs to sit on their lap.

Aren't they adorable?

Before leaving, you can use some rollers and spray to remove the furs from your clothes.

How to go there:

Take a subway to Myeongdong Station. (Exit 6)

Walk Straight, then turn right in the Nature Republic Shop.

Then when you see the Skinfood shop, turn right. 

You'll see the Dog Cafe on the left side. It's located on the fourth floor. 

Trip to Dongdaemun Design Plaza

My trip to DDP is not really planned. I just saw the LED Rose Garden in my Instagram newsfeed so I tried to check it out in person. 

I've never seen a garden with LED lights until now. It's beautiful but I think it's overrated. There's nothing much to do than to take pictures of fake roses with lights on. LOL.

I was more amazed with the structure of the Dongdaemun Design Plaza. It's really futuristic. I must say that this  building is one of the best buildings I've seen in Korea.

Take the Subway to Dongdaemun History and Culture Park

Admission is free! 
However, the LED Rose Garden isn't available for the whole year.
