Trip to Iloilo

This trip was a milestone for us. It was our first time to ride an airplane. (Another first time together. :">)

Since we were only allowed to spent 3 days and 2 nights there, here are the things that we did to enjoy the trip:

DAY 1
We ate Sinigang na Tanigue and Grilled Squids for breakfast.

We had a Seafood lunch at Tatoy's Manokan & Seafood.

We watched the festive dance number from West Visayas State University.

We tried their Chopsuey that is full of seafood. :)

By the way, the reason we went there was to attend a convention. We stayed at Punta Villa Resort.

DAY 2
We spent the day at the seminar. We managed to escape after lunch. :P
We bought some pasalubong from SM Iloilo.

The Biscocho Haus is known for their tasty Biscocho, of course. We also bought Piaya, Garlic bread and Maki Curls. :)

Since both of us are UP students, we decided to visit UP Visayas.

We watched Mr. & Ms. Making Waves on our last night there.
The candidates

DAY 3
Take a peek into our messy hotel room. :P

The last day of the convention was devoted for the election of the new officers.  I'm proud that my boyfriend got the second highest position. He almost made it to the president but he lost by one vote.

This was our last meal at the resort. Finally, a lechon was served. At first we enjoyed eating different kinds of seafood but then after eating those for consecutive meals, we missed eating red meat. :P

After the convention we had a City Tour! :)

Here's my picture at St. Anne Parish Molo Church. It's one of the oldest church here in the Philippines.
We also went to the plaza near the Molo Church.

We're supposed to visit the Museo Iloilo but it was closed when we went there. We went to the museum in there municipality instead.

Trip to Iloilo is incomplete if we don't eat their famous batchoy from Deco's Original La Paz Batchoy.
We bought this very delicious cream horn for pasalubong. I highly recommended this for those people who have a sweet tooth. It tastes like cream puff. :P

A very interesting thing happened to us in the airport. We met this little girl and we started talking and playing with her while waiting for our flight. After minutes of talking, we asked her name. "Amber", she said. We both smiled because we want to name our child Amber. We thought that it was a sign. :">

I'll end this story with a picture of us inside the airplane. It was an awesome adventure, indeed.
