Trip to Tagaytay City

This was our first date out of town. I hope this blog can help those who are planning to visit the Picnic Grove. The rates are not updated because we went there last December 2011.

There are two options on how to go to Tagaytay City from Cavite:

• option A: ride a jeep to olivarez/mendez/rotonda
• option B: ride a bus to Tagaytay

We rode a bus and we dropped by Olivarez.

How much is the fare? 33 php.

Then a barker told us to ride a tricycle instead of jeep to Picnic Grove.

How much is the fare? 60 PHP. LOL.

and oh. i almost forgot.. 50 php for the entrance fee. hahaha. :P

I will post some pictures on what you should expect when you visit the picnic grove.

Here you go. The beautiful view of Taal Lake. :)

Trivia:

It is not located in Tagaytay. The lake is located at Batanggas.

Cable cars & Zip lines are also available in Picnic Grove.

There’s also a hanging bridge along the trail :)

The cottages in Picnic Grove are for rent depending on its location & size

We preferred to stay in the ruins and have our pictures taken *self timer mode.

This is a picture in a cottage. We didn’t pay for it. LOL. hahaha.

Picnic Grove is also a venue for Kite Flying. :)

Tagaytay has the perfect climate for cuddling. LOL. :)
